I really like the quality of the waist pack, however I think the strap is too long for attaching to a smaller waist. I'm a 34 inch waist and the strap does not cinch up around my waist very well. To feel secure with it I would have to use it as a shoulder strap. If that was the intent for this pack it should be listed as such in the product description. Response: Christopher, the one end of the strap is not sewn down. When you get to the adjustment that you have you need to now loosen the top strap in the plastic piece that holds them and start working the bottom strap out making the whole length shorter. It will shorten all the way to the leather of the pack.
