It is consistently my pleasure to do business with you and to refer others as well. I have been very pleased with my purchase as have been those I've referred. May this year go well for you and your business. Your work ethics are high and I appreciate that.
Susan

When I got dressed today, I felt I had to send you a note. I purchased a belt from you about 6 months ago. Every day I put it on and am delighted by its quality and appearance - a big smile. I wish I had more need of leather-goods to purchase from you. I might be your smallest customer, but I might also be your most pleased.

Belts - About Our Belts

scribes.JPG (10946 bytes)Made of California Latigo leather, which comes from range toughened steer hides, our hand made belts are tough, flexible and pliable, with a natural luster that only improves with age. Scars and flaws in the leather show and accent the true marks of cowhide. The hides are then cut into long strips of varying widths and lengths, making standard sizes that range from 24" to 42" with larger sizes available on request. Our tooling and coloring process often takes three different dye combinations, hand coloring and hand waxing to achieve the rich color that is so distinctive in our finished belts. All belts are fitted with snaps so our customers have the added flexibility to use whatever buckle they prefer.

We do not make reversible belts. Our belts are one solid piece of steer hide with no lamination insuring strength, long wear, and durability.

braids.JPG (13498 bytes)Belts are sized from the folded buckle end to the middle hole on the tip end. Thus a belt sized 32" is 32" to the middle hole, going back to 30" and up to 34". People buying gifts are usually safe buying according to waist size. If the waist size is unknown, we suggest that someone measure the length from the buckle attachment to the hole most used in a belt already used by the recipient and order the size closest to that measurement.

When creating the widths of our belts, we start with the standard widths being 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2", and 1 3/4" respectively. We also take the time and care to burnish and bevel the edges to create a far more presentable and finished look. The actual width of the finished product then becomes slightly smaller when the belts are completed. Please keep this in mind when ordering

buckle1s.JPG (8192 bytes)A free generic buckle is provided with belt purchase. For other types of buckles, go down one size because the buckle itself can add from one to two inches to the length of the belt.

Sizes range from 24" to 60". Larger sizes can be special ordered by calling 1-877-327-2260

geonickels.JPG (10303 bytes)We recommend that you wear our belts with dark clothing the first couple of times. The dye on the edges of the belt may come off on lighter clothing as the belt stretches slightly. This is only noticeable the first few times and not at all on darker clothing. We use vegetable dyes and it will wash right out. We suggest that these belts not be worn with fancy blouses or dresses.
